Brides are busier than ever these days and more and more are turning to the ease and convenience of online shopping, especially for accessories including shoes. The best known and most popular site for bridal shoes is for sure, MyGlassSlipper.com and BridalShoes.com. As a matter of fact, it was because of these sites that we decided to discontinue carrying shoes on our site. These sites have a huge selection, quick shipping and returns, none of which we could offer. I felt bad selling something on our site that I knew brides would be better off getting somewhere else. We are clearing out all of our shoes BTW, so, check out our site www.HairComestheBride.com for some great deals.
So, I have done a little research and I have come up with some of my favorite sites for finding bridal shoes online. I do have to tell you, it was very hard to find average priced shoes. I found a LOT of high end bridal shoes and a some really inexpensive choices but not too many in the middle. If you know of any great sites for bridal shoes that are not mentioned, please email me at gina@haircomesthebride.com and let me know.
My Glass Slipper- Designer brands including Grace, Something Bleu, Bagley Mishka and more. These gorgeous wedges are by Kate Spade. Expect to pay $150.00-$300.00 shopping on this site.
Bridal Shoes- Owned by the same company as My Glass Slipper, they have over a hundred bridal shoes to choose from at under $100.00. Everything from super high heels and wedges to these super cute beaded flip flops.
Steve Madden- You will find several of Steve Madden’s signature sexy, super high-heeled shoes to choose from as well as more modest options such as this adorable ballet flat. This was one of the best mid-range options I found with prices ranging from $50.00 to $100.00.
Nordstrom- You can always count on Nordstrom to have great quality and a nice selection. Online you can also find quite a range of prices on their special occasion shoes. Starting at $50.00 all the way up to $350.00. Look for some of your favorite designers like Stuart Weitzman at this site.
Shannon Britt- I had not heard of this designer before but I thought I would add her because she has some really unique, dramatic styles. The price is up there though, ranging from $200.00-$400.00. You would really have to fall in love with a pair to pay that kind of money without a designer label.
Kate Spade- Visit this sites bridal section and you will find classic, sexy shoes by this well known designer. You can also find more styles from Kate on sites like Zappos.com, Nordstrom.com and MyGlassSlipper.com. Expect to pay $250.00-$300.00 if you have your heart set on a pair of Kate Spades.
Stuart Weitzman- These designer shoes have gained steady popularity in the last few years. Where we are in Southern California, these are the most popular brand of bridal shoe. That is, for those who can afford it. Styles range from $250.00-$450.00
Jimmy Choo- Ok, you fashionistas visit this website to shop a gorgeous selection of very classic and clean bridal shoes. Choose from about a dozen styles that will typically set you back at least $500.00!

Neiman Marcus- Now for the peice de resistance! For those brides who don’t have a care in the world, or probably a budget for that matter. Visit NeimanMarcus.com to shop from designers such as Valentino, Manolo Blahnik, Prada or how about these gorgeous Christian Louboutins (Oprah’s favorite). This pair will only set you back about $1100.00! Ok, I know that most of us in the real world will never own a pair of thousand dollar shoes but this is a really fun site to browse and dream!
Target- Ok, now back to the real world. This is more my speed. Unlike most women, I am NOT a total shoe FREAK! I would be more likely to spend $200.00 on makeup then shoes. It’s just not my thing. So, chances are, I would be browsing good old Target for some super cute and super cheap shoes like these peak-a-boo pumps for only $19.99! That’s right $19.99!
Payless- This site is going to be hit or miss. They do have a special occasion section but their styles change constantly so you need to check back often. I found this cute pair that is identical to a pair that we used to carry in our shop for $98.00! This version, HELLO, $24.99! Most styles are from $19.99-$24.99.
Kmart- I definetly don’t consider myself a snob but I would never have thought to look at Kmart for bridal shoes. Fabric softener, cheese puffs, maybe sporting equipment but never bridal shoes. But I am telling you, they have some really cute shoes and get this, they start at $11.00! Almost every style is $19.99 or under! Who knew? Well, now you do! So, get some super cute shoes at Kmart and spend the money you saved on a really great hair and makeup artist! Maybe Hair Comes the Bride?
